This is by far the best and most welcoming airport cafe stops I have experienced. You can tell when a barista knows what they’re doing. From the moment my wife and I sat down we felt greeting and relaxed. It was exactly what we needed. I ordered the Cortado, a breakfast bowl, and my wife ordered a breakfast sandwich. The cortado was similar to coffee we had in Puerto Rico, meaning it was smooth, and sweet. A welcoming spirit and delicious coffee goes a long way, especially in an airport setting. We started in one gate terminal, and ended up in another to find zaza’s , and boy are we glad we did!
Sorry the only picture I have is of my empty bowl. I had the chicken bowl and it was fantastic. Very flavorful and the presentation was perfect. I would recommend if you are at the Florida Airport to visit this place.
This is the best cheap coffee at the airport and they have a good selection of bakery goods. They have a notably excellent cheese danish for under 3.
This was hands down the best airport food I ever had. I ordered the Cuban breakfast sandwich because it was only seven dollars. It was done in about 2 minutes and it was huge. I immediately sat down to eat it while it was warm. I was eating with my left hand and tried to take a picture with my right hand but by the time I got the camera out, I already finished the sandwich. That’s why I could only take a picture of the finished wrapper.
The food was enjoyable. I stopped here because I didn’t want a cold salad from those “express” food stations. I was craving something light yet good, and the bowl was perfect. Mix the bowl if you want your bowl flavorful. My partner got the Cuban sandwich, and he said it was a good sandwich. The bread was crispy, and it had plenty of ham, so the sandwich wasn’t dry. I also ordered an Iced Mocha. The drink was bittersweet (which I liked), so don’t expect a sweet mocha drink like the one at Starbucks/ McDonalds.
My fiance drinks his coffee straight black. I don't. The young lady asked me if I'm sure I want it like that, it is very strong. Told her it was for him and we both laughed. Anyways, he loved it! Just how he loves his coffee! I loved the beef empanadas! I loved how the ladies kept the line flowing with ease and a positively friendly attitude! I would shop there again when I'm on the go!
If you’d like an alternative to Starbucks, Zaza can spot you a suitable cafe con leche, made to order with sugar or whatever you like. They also have some off the trail pastries with a different density and texture than you’d probably expect. Well staffed, friendly, and fast moving line. Clean tables with bright natural light. Typical airport prices.
Beef empanadas with garlic and spicy sauce on the side. You’re welcome. You can thank me later.
